{"id":1938,"date":"2022-01-21T04:00:13","date_gmt":"2022-01-21T09:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unisoya.wpenginepowered.com\/?p=1938"},"modified":"2022-01-19T14:11:52","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T19:11:52","slug":"tofu-with-crushed-tomatoes-olives-and-thyme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unisoya.com\/en\/recipes\/tofu-with-crushed-tomatoes-olives-and-thyme\/","title":{"rendered":"Tofu with crushed tomatoes, olives and thyme"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p><em>By: La vie dans mon assiette<\/em><br \/>\n<em>In collaboration with Unisoya<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you need<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients (2 servings)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc 454 g Unisoya soft tofu<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon nutritional yeast flakes<\/p>\n<p>1 pinch of salt<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon of canola oil<\/p>\n<p>For the crushed tomatoes:<\/p>\n<p>2 cups cherry tomatoes<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons olive oil<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon salted herbs<\/p>\n<p>2 sprigs thyme<\/p>\n<p>2 cloves garlic<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon maple syrup<\/p>\n<p>1 pinch of chili flakes<\/p>\n<p>Freshly ground pepper<\/p>\n<p>About 12 assorted olives<\/p>\n<p>2 sprigs of thyme<\/p>\n<p>Chive<\/p>\n<p>Half a lemon<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Crumble the tofu. Mix it in a bowl with the nutritional yeast and salt.<\/p>\n<p>Heat the canola oil in a non-stick pan and add the pieces of tofu. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 8 to 12 minutes, or until the pieces are well grilled. Return to the original bowl and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>In the same pan, combine all the ingredients to make the crushed tomatoes. Cook over medium-low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the tomatoes are tender and juicy.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer the tomatoes to a serving bowl. Add the tofu, olives, thyme<\/p>\n<p>and chives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pepper generously.
