{"id":2089,"date":"2022-03-31T11:03:29","date_gmt":"2022-03-31T15:03:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unisoya.wpenginepowered.com\/?p=2089"},"modified":"2022-03-31T11:03:29","modified_gmt":"2022-03-31T15:03:29","slug":"vietnamese-roll-with-tofu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unisoya.com\/en\/recipes\/vietnamese-roll-with-tofu\/","title":{"rendered":"Vietnamese roll with tofu"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p><em>By: La vie dans mon assiette<br \/>\n<\/em><em>In collaboration with Unisoya<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>What you need:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tofu marinade (makes 4 rolls):<\/p>\n<p>1 half 300 gr package of Unisoya ginger tofu<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons hoisin sauce<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon cornstarch<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon sesame oil<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sauce (2 servings):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons mayonnaise<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon hoisin sauce<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon fish sauce<\/p>\n<p>2 teaspoons soy sushi sauce<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon sesame oil<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp sriracha<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd teaspoon ginger<\/p>\n<p>1 dash lemon juice<\/p>\n<p>For the vermicelli:<\/p>\n<p>1 liter of water<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp ginger<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon rice vinegar<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons soy sauce<\/p>\n<p>rice vermicelli<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the rolls:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 sheets of rice<\/p>\n<p>1 grated carrot<\/p>\n<p>\u00be cup edamame<\/p>\n<p>A few fine cucumber juliennes<\/p>\n<p>Fresh coriander<\/p>\n<p>Mint leaves<\/p>\n<p>Sliced green onions<\/p>\n<p>Sesame seeds<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cut the block of tofu into 4 equal sticks lengthwise and place them in a dish that closes. Add 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce and allow to marinate together for 24 hours in the refrigerator. The recipe can also be made live, but the tofu will be just less flavorful.<\/p>\n<p>Cook the tofu in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat with 1 tsp sesame oil until the pieces are toasted. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Heat the vermicelli water and its ingredients. Leave to marinate for a few minutes. Add vermicelli and remove from heat when cooked. Pour into a colander, retaining the ginger pieces. Set aside<\/p>\n<p>Make the sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare the ingredients for the rolls. Run fresh water about 5 seconds on a sheet of rice. We don&#8217;t want the sheet to be completely soft to prevent tearing. In other words, the leaf continues to absorb moisture and ends up being tender when rolled.
