Julienned cumin Tofu with lime & pepper mayonnaise

What you will need:

One 454 g package of Unisoya tofu with fine herbs

1 tablespoon cumin


2 tablespoons coriander


¼ cup mayonnaise

Zest of a lime

Juice of half a lime

Freshly ground pepper


The instructions:

In a container, combine the mayonnaise, lime juice (keep a pinch of zest for serving) and pepper. Set aside.

Toss the tofu julienne with the cumin. Salt generously. Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan and add the tofu. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 8 to 12 minutes, or until the pieces are well grilled. Set aside.

On a serving platter, place the juliennes while still hot, then the coriander. Top with lightly liquefied mayonnaise. Sprinkle the rest of lime zest as well as some salt and pepper.
