Lemon Parmesan Tofu Sticks

What you need:

One 454 g package of Unisoya tofu with vegetables

1 egg


Zest of an organic lemon

¼ cup grated Parmesan


Freshly ground pepper


The instructions:

Pat the block of tofu dry. Cut it into sticks. Set aside.

Beat the egg on a small plate. Set aside.

Combine the panko (about 2/3 cup), the lemon zest and the parmesan cheese. Season generously with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Heat the oven to 450 ° F (230 ° C).

Dip one stick at a time in the egg, then coat it in the mixture of panko. Repeat this step with all the sticks.

Place the sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 15 minutes or until the sticks are golden.

Remove from the oven and place the sticks on a serving dish and accompany them with a lemon wedge.


Serve with the mayonnaise of your choice.
