Garlic Tofu Crisps

Ingredients :

  • 1 package Regular Tofu
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instruction :

  • Pre-heat oven at 350º F
  • Slice the tofu thinly lengthwise
  • Cut the tofu into triangles and place them on a baking sheet lined with paper towel or a clean dish cloth
  • Cover the tofu with the paper towel or dish towel and place a heavy object on top for 10 minutes to remove the water from the tofu
  • Meanwhile in a small bowl, mix the olive oil, soya sauce and garlic together
  • In another bowl, mix the flour, salt and pepper together
  • Remove the paper towel or dish cloth from the baking sheet
  • Dip the tofu triangles into the olive oil sauce
  • Dip the tofu triangles into the flour mixture making sure they are well coated and then place them back onto the baking sheet
  • Pour a little olive oil over the triangles
