BBQ tofu burger with Southwestern sauce
Préparation
How to proceed
Cut tofu lengthwise into 2 slices. Drain and absorb. Marinate the tofu and leave to rest while you prepare the recipe (or marinate 4 hours in advance for more flavour).
Prepare the French shallot mixture and leave to macerate while you prepare the recipe
Preheat BBQ to 450°F and brush.
Oil grates as needed.
Grill the tofu for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until the slices are well marked.
Toast the breads.
Drain the shallots.
On toasted bread, place cheese and top with mayonnaise. Add tofu slices and remaining ingredients. Serve with salad, French fries and/or plain potato chips. Enjoy your meal!
