Banh Mi with tofu
Préparation
Cut the block of tofu into thin slices, such as the thickness of bacon. Prepare the tofu mixture, add the slices, and let marinate for 2 hours (or 24 hours for more taste).
Cook the tofu in a non-stick pan with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil for about 6 minutes or until the pieces are toasted, turning them halfway through. Set aside.
Cut the baguette to the desired length per serving. Cut the pieces lengthwise. Spread with mayonnaise dressing. Garnish as desired with cucumber, carrot, radish, coriander, Italian parsley, mint and green onions.
