Maple Tofu with edamame and sesame
Préparation
Cut the tofu block into cubes. Mix in a bowl with the cornstarch.
Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet and add the tofu cubes. Cook over medium heat for 12–15 minutes stirring, or until the pieces are well browned.
In a bowl, mix the hoisin sauce, the soy sauce, the maple syrup, the ginger and the Sambal Oelek.
Add the sauce to the tofu once golden. Mix over low heat for 2 minutes, add the edamame, and cook for 2 more minutes.
When ready, add the chives.
To serve, add the sesame seeds.
Accompagner basmati rice and other serving vegetable, telles carrots grilledes, or Add on a lit vermicelle rice or on a salad spinach.
