Tofu Burrito

Burrito au tofu

What you need

Tofu marinade (4 servings):

1 pkg Unisoya tofu, 454g, cut into full-length sticks

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon cumin

A few drops of tabasco, to taste

1 pinch of salt

Ground pepper

Canola oil

 

Topping:

4 wraps

1 can black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup spinach or other leafy green

2 sliced ​​avocados

Chopped fresh cilantro, to taste

1 cup grated tex-mex cheese

Piri piri sauce, to taste (or other Mexican condiment)

 

The instructions:

Prepare the tofu mixture and leave to marinate on the counter during the food preparation, or in advance, up to 24 hours, for more taste.

Cook the tofu in a non-stick skillet with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil for about 6 minutes or until the pieces are charred, turning half way through.

Fill the wraps and roll them up.
