Tofu with honey caramel and dijon (served on a creamy soup)

Ingredients (2 servings)

½ packet of 300 gr Unisoya ginger tofu

1 tablespoon of honey

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1/4 teaspoon salted herbs

1 clove of garlic

½ teaspoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon of canola oil

Freshly ground pepper

 

The instructions:

Cut the block of tofu into cubes. In a bowl, coat the pieces in cornstarch

Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet and add the tofu cubes to it. Cook at medium heat 12 to 15 minutes, stirring constantly, or until the pieces are well grilled.

In a container, combine the rest of the ingredients.

Add the mixture to the tofu when grilled. Mix over low heat for 2 to 4

minutes.

 

When ready, place on your favourite vegetable soup! We have chosen

our cream of edamame, celery and broccoli in coconut milk.

 

When serving, add sour cream and fresh herbs. (Optional)
